Menton & the French Riviera

Between Menton and Monaco, every neighbourhood has its own character. Here is what you need to choose where to stay and make the most of the area.

Menton

The last town on the French Riviera before Italy, Menton is known as the “pearl of France”. Its mild climate, beaches and ochre-coloured old town make it a pleasant destination all year round.

The Promenade du Soleil runs along the sea to the harbour, while the lanes of the old town climb up to the Basilica of Saint-Michel.
